Coaching in Stress Management

Coaching is not counselling, but a more preventive part of stress management. Being pragmatic and goal orientated, it is an effective way of helping people to re-assess and restructure areas of their working lives that are causing dissatisfaction or confusion, and to develop a strategy for turning plans into actions within a stated time frame. For example, an employee might have six sessions over a period of six weeks or six months, allowing them support in achieving their goals. However there could be benefits for both employee and their organisation after just one session.

Coaching is ideal for busy managers as it can be tailored to their availability and personal needs.
